"Sean's Dinner......"

Sean, Claire, and Sean's roommate Matt, came over the Monday following Easter. I was going to go to the grocery store with them to pick up ingredients for Sean to make dinner for all of us that night. After 3 stops, Meijer (for most of the grocery's), Oryana (natural foods store), and Burritt's Market (for the salmon), we arrived back at the condo where the preparation began. I guess I should tell you that they arrived at our condo around noon, preparation for the meal began around 3ish or so. Nothing makes me more happy than having people over, snacking and socializing during food prep while enjoying the fruits of the vine or field. ;)

This is our "starter" that Sean whipped up. Goat cheese blended with cream cheese, and topped with a fresh tomato salsa, baked until bubbly, served with corn chips......delicious!

Here are Matt, Claire, and Sean enjoying it. It truly did not last long. I thought perhaps I should have asked Matt if he wanted a spatula to get the last of it. :)

What?! A photo of the photographer?! How about that!!! He outdid himself with this photo shoot. :)

Sean building our salads. By the way, he brought along his own knives as well as his collection of large spoons for just this purpose.

The finished salad...........BEAUTIFUL, yes?

Chef Sean and our salmon.............

Sauteed with herbs and butter............

To be finished in the oven........

Before "plating it up" to be served........

Sean's finished dish......

Being surrounded by loved ones, friends, good food, good wine or beer......I could get used to this!! :)

As Don (modeling Sean's sunglasses), his body language demonstrating what we felt....."Can it get any better?"
