Barb and Geoff have their house up for sale. They've done quite a bit of work to get ready for last Sunday's Open House, and hoped Don and I would stop by to see it.
We were there when the Open House was to begin and found Barb and Geoff had not left yet, so Don was able to take a photo of them with their realtors sign.
Before exploring the inside, we had to go into the backyard to say hello to the chickens.....
Installing a beautiful wood floor, taking old wallpaper off, and fresh paint have really given the kitchen a fresh new look. Having this gorgeous new stove certainly helps, too, eh?
Notice the "looper" rug in front of the sink? Yep, woven by yours truly for a wedding gift. ;)
A nice bright room to the rear and off of the living room would make a WONDERFUL Fiber Studio! I'd have to paint the "pink" walls though to something different.....Oh Wait! That's not PINK.....it's "CORAL". ;)
One of the 3 upstairs bedrooms. The 2 largest bedrooms are full of character with their built ins and angled ceilings.
And last, but not least, I took a photo of Don sitting on the nice little patio located in front of the house. I neglected to mention that off the kitchen, with a nice mudroom in between, is a very nice screened in porch, too.
Barb and Geoff's house looks great! I should mention that the reason they are selling is to downsize now that it is only the 2 of them living there. They're staying in Madison though, so "Best of Luck" in selling their house soon!!!

Thanks for the lovely post and the good wishes! Your pictures came out very well. I like being tall and thin!
Good luck on them selling their house! In very good shape and "staging" is important. We are doing our Open House today, even though it's going to rain, storm, wind, and dark gloomy skies. Oh well, Jean in Lodi told me to light candles and make it "romantic" hahahahahah

What a nice house. Just looks the right size for 2 people! After that dressing up it must be hard to leave it. New Beginnings!
