The big playground equipment consisted of one single structure with 3 levels from which to climb, slide, or walk to/from.
It also had this "bubble", which was a big hit with Abigail, especially when Grandpa was on the other side. ;)
She got the giggles and grins when we were on opposite sides and would run to the bubble and yell for me to come join her, then get the giggles again. ;)
I swear that Abigail is fearless. If you remember, she began riding a horse (yes, full sized) before she was 2 years old. This piece of equipment with all types of climbing ladders, didn't hinder her a bit. We adults got a bit nervous at times though. ;)
Julie had taken her to a birthday party that was being held at Abigail's old daycare and all the bigger kids were climbing up the slide instead of sliding down it, so Abigail seems to think that is how it is supposed to be. It didn't matter how many times Patrick or Grandpa Don slid down them, she wanted to climb up them.
She was so proud of herself when she made it to the top, then she'd run around back to the bottom to do it all over again. :)
She even showed Grandpa Don how to get Grandpa to come running when he was in "the bubble". ;)
To be continued......
