
All that is left of La Rue, WI, which was a thriving mining town.

The end of the line.......just beyond what you see in the distance, is the abandoned rock quarry. The fall colors were especially beautiful that day.

Just before the train engine was moved from the front to the rear for the trip back to North Freedom.

One of our pumpkin purchases. This WAS the "Pumpkin Express" after all.........

Hi Michael,
I don't know if it's still true, but La Rue has in the past been the site of a great antique car meet. Basically, a small town appears for a long weekend.
