"What a Contrast!"

For those of you who don't already know, Don walks to work most days. It is only on rare occasions that I drive him in, and bitterly cold weather, with extremely low wind chill temperatures, is not one of those times. Over the years, he has learned how to dress for the day. Here he is last week when the temps were below zero and the wind chills much lower.

And then yesterday, only a few days later, we had such mild temperatures that we were able to sit on the front deck and have afternoon coffee. Yes, we did have the propane heaters lit, but that was more due to the wind than the air temperature. Earlier in the day, Don went out and cleaned off all the snow that was on the upper deck and chairs, which allowed them to dry nicely prior to our going out.
