"Saturday's RV Show......"

We took a break from our weekend at home to go to the annual RV show at the Alliant Energy Center. As usual, the place was packed with RV's of all types/ styles, and of course, with a multitude of people, too. We found several that were "interesting", but nothing that we "had to have". I'm always disappointed that the show features so many huge RV's rather than more modest types that would appeal to those of us who have smaller vehicles that might be used to pull an RV.

We did manage to sit and take a break in some nice surroundings though......

One thing we noticed this year was the trailer body style. There were more campers that used the "cargo" style body.....the one that has the sides taper to a point at the front. This kitchen was located in that area and I think it was the best one I'd seen that day. In another camper of the same style, the bathroom was up in that area, which allowed it to be quite roomy. Nice to see that in some ways, someone is thinking "outside the box"......now if they would only go for luxury, small, lightweight, and low cost. ;)

Upon arriving home, Don got out of the car at the top of Briar Hill to take this photo of neighbor Vince's display of his Green Bay Packer support. Quite well done, don't you agree?

Don took the time to get out of the car to photograph a SPORTS display?!?! I'm shocked!
