"The House We Rented....."

The post is rather long today....all photos of the house we rented. :) The house has been completely renovated, inside and out. The owner has a construction company and his office is the small section that you see off the back of the house. The symbol in the peak is the construction companies logo, roots in a circle. The symbol is carried throughout the house, as you will see in other photos.


A friend of the owners did all of the iron work in/on the house. Here is a close up of 2 of the figures that decorated the outside, above the upstairs bedroom windows.



The upstairs bathroom (there was also a 1/2 bath downstairs), was a combination shower (6 shower heads) and steam room. It was wonderful!

And it's gas log fireplace. All of the stones were cut Petoskey Stones.


A view from the front living area. As you can see, we were able to store our bikes in the back entry area, which is also the laundry room. The front door is on the left at the end of the black buffet. Notice the wood inlaid flooring.


The stairwell with it's custom iron work. The lip of each step had rope lighting under it, too.
