Don and I were invited over to Sheila and Penny's for Christmas dinner. Also invited, were Jim and George, from Iowa, and another friend, Jamie, from the Madison area.
Here are 2 of the cook's in the kitchen......Jim helping Penny get the meal finalized.....
I couldn't resist getting these attractive accessories for Sheila and Penny. I thought when I saw them that they'd be great for a blog photo! Intuition my friends, intuition..... ;)
Dinner was delicious, as you can see from our empty plates. Seated from left to right are: Penny, me, Sheila, Jamie, and Jim. George's arm is on the lower left and Don is taking the photo. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to get a group shot.
Here is our Master Photographer! Yes, Don was having a good time......hopefully, he hasn't let the "crown" go to his head, although it is probably too late to do anything about it....sigh. ;)
Penny brings in the "Yule Log" dessert!
I was given the task of cutting the dessert while Penny got plates ready for passing the delicious slices to the group.
Can you tell that Sheila absolutely LOVES her photo taken? Don finally had to put his foot down and tell her that no, she couldn't be in EVERY photo! ;) I'm so going to get smacked for that remark......
We had a wonderful time! The gathering of friends is always a great event, but on a holiday, it is even better!
