"Scarf......"

This is a scarf that I knitted for my daughter, Claire. Originally, I was planning on weaving her a scarf using the hand dyed warp, but since that didn't happen, I bought commercial yarn and went from there. ;)

I bought the yarn, Mochi Plus (Crystal Palace Yarns/80% Merino Wool-20% Nylon) from The Knitting Tree, on Monroe Street, not too far from where we live. It is extremely soft....as you can imagine, since it has so much Merino in it. The pattern I used was by Ann Norling, "Short Row Multi-directional Scarf".

I came across your blog yesterday as I was cruising "next blog" from mine. I am a member of the Ottawa Valley Weavers and Spinners Guild, a weaving basket-maker among many spinners and weavers of varieties of cloth. The Guild's workshops are filled with looms and spinning wheels!

I sent your blog details to the Guild's Newsletter editor and asked her to put it in the next edition. As a blogger, tweater, Facebook person and a seller on Etsy, it is my mission to bring many of the Guild members into the digital world. I hope exposure to your blog will help in this aim.
